• Profile information: Age, sex, height, weight, fitness goals, and macro targets you provide during onboarding.
• Phone number: Your mobile phone number, used exclusively for delivering SMS-based coaching.
• SMS messages: The content of text messages you send to and receive from our coaching service, including meal logs, workout logs, questions, and coaching responses.
• Health and fitness data: Meal entries, calorie and macro totals, weight entries, workout logs, and coaching notes derived from your text messages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide personalized AI fitness coaching via SMS and our web dashboard.
• Track your nutrition, training, and progress over time.
• Generate coaching insights and recommendations tailored to your goals.
• Send you SMS messages related to your coaching (meal feedback, check-ins, weekly summaries, motivational nudges).
• Verify your phone number during signup.
• Improve our service and coaching quality.

3. SMS Messaging

By opting in to Threwline's SMS coaching service, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Threwline at the phone number you provide. These messages include:

• Coaching responses to your logged meals and workouts
• Proactive check-ins and motivational nudges
• Weekly progress summaries
• Phone number verification codes

Message frequency varies based on your usage and coaching interactions. Typically 2-10 messages per day depending on how actively you text your coach.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or any personal information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate Threwline:

• Telnyx: To send and receive SMS messages. Telnyx processes your phone number and message content.
• Anthropic (Claude): To generate AI coaching responses. Message content and relevant profile context are sent to the AI model.
• Supabase: To store your account data, coaching history, and fitness logs securely.
• Vercel: To host our web application.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure database access controls, and environment-level secret management. Your password is hashed and never stored in plaintext.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
